The General Director ensures the coordination of the duties stipulated by the Banking Law and the related
legislation for the General Manager, the duties and powers
delegated by the Board of Directors, all administrative operations of the Bank, as well as the effective and sound execution of the Bank's activities.
The General Director of the Bank is appointed by the Prime Minister upon the proposal of the Minister concerned, and is required to have the relevant qualifications in accordance with Banking Law no. 5411.
