The Board of Directors is the decision-making body, which is accountable to the General Assembly. The Bank is managed and represented by the Board of Directors, which consists of seven members.
The four members of the Board of Directors are appointed by the Ministry, whereas two members are elected by the General Assembly from among four candidates recommended by the Ministry of Interior from among mayors and special provincial administration members representing municipalities and special provincial administrations in the General Assembly. The General Director is a natural member of the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors also elects the Audit Committee and the Loans Committee from among its own members.
Those who will be appointed to the Board of Directors must have the qualifications required in the Banking Law no. 5411.
